The Kayla Jean Ricci Memorial Foundation  is now accepting applications for scholarships in the area of animal or environmental enhancement.

The Kayla Jean Ricci Memorial Foundation was organized in 2002, after the tragic loss of a wonderful 12-year-old child from North Kingstown who died very suddenly of bacterial pneumonia. The only child of two very devoted parents, Kayla had an unusually passionate concern for the well-being of all the creatures of the earth, and it is in this vein that the Foundation was created.

Many individuals and buisnesses have been generous in contributing their time and resources to this organization. Because of their commitment, the Foundation has been able to support a variety of worthy causes.

The members of the Foundation hope that Kayla's dream of helping all of earth's creatures is being fulfilled and we will continue to give assistance to those who truly can make a difference in the world.

Scholarships, grants, and awards are being reviewed for their dedication to the preservation of animals and their environment and are reviewed. We encourage people of all ages to submit applications with their study, research, or immediate assistance to the creatures of the earth.
